Residents of the British Virgin Islands say they are against the direct rule of London
The leadership of the British Commonwealth of Nations has decided to introduce direct control from London in the British Virgin Islands.
In Road Town, the delegation from London was met by several hundred protesters. People were holding signs saying “I was born free” and “No direct rule in Great Britain”.
